Faithful representations of ultragraph $C^{\ast }$-algebras

Abstract:

In this talk, we present a general Cuntz-Krieger uniqueness theorem for ultragraph $C^{\ast }$-algebras, which is an analogous result of graph algebras due to Szyma'nski. We construct a family of faithful representations of ultragraph $C^{\ast }$-algebras via branching systems of ultragraphs. This is a joint work with Daniel Gon¸calves and Danilo Royer.
