Tricky matrices

Abstract:
It is conventional to classify single matrices by unitary
equivalence (or by similarity, or by *-algebraic equivalence, or by
algebraic equivalence). I need to point out that it is very tricky to
work on the equivalence of complete order isomorphism, even in the very
low-dimensional cases.

蔡文端先生是加拿大多伦多大学数学系教授，加拿大皇家学会院士. 他的研究工作主要在算子代数、量子信息理论和数学物理. 其学术成就蜚声国际，特别是他1975年发表的一篇数学论文奠定了量子信息理论的数学研究基础，该论文是量子信息理论的最经典文献，几乎关于量子信息理论的所有论文都要引用这项工作，目前该文被SCI引用719次.蔡文端教授在数学4个最顶尖杂志中的2个发表过论文，在物理学界最顶尖杂志：物理评论快报也发表过论文.
